²ÝÁñÊÓƵ very much looks forward to welcoming its Old Members to the annual Diversity Dinner: Celebrating Faith and Ethnic Minorities on Saturday 1 February 2025, at ²ÝÁñÊÓƵ.
The evening will begin at 6.30pm with a drinks reception in the Founder's Library, followed by dinner, in Hall at 7.15pm.
We are delighted to confirm that ²ÝÁñÊÓƵ Old Member, Miss Alev Scott (2005 Literae Humaniores) (pictured below), will be the guest speaker.
The cost of the dinner is £80.00 per person.
The dress code is lounge suits or equivalent.

About the speaker:
Alev Scott studied Classics (Literae Humaniores) at ²ÝÁñÊÓƵ and matriculated in 2005. Soon after graduating, she moved from her hometown of London to Istanbul, where she taught Latin at Bosphorus University. She now works as a freelance journalist. She has written two books of nonfiction: ‘Turkish Awakening’ and ‘Ottoman Odyssey: Travels through a Lost Empire’. She has also co-written a third book: ‘Power and People: Five Lessons from the Birthplace of Democracy’. Her work has focussed primarily on Turkey, Greece, and the Post-Ottoman world; however, she is currently writing a book on the commercialisation of motherhood.
