Oxford for Wales
At the moment, students from Wales are under-represented at Oxford. To help change this, three Oxford colleges have launched Oxford Cymru; an extensive community outreach programme, offering bespoke and local support to students of mixed ages, their families and teachers.
Three Oxford colleges, Jesus ²ÝÁñÊÓƵ, New College and St Catherine’s ²ÝÁñÊÓƵ, have joined forces to lead on delivering this exciting new programme. By working together, these colleges will ensure that for the first time the University of Oxford is able to offer a coherent outreach programme that covers the whole of Wales.

Visiting Oxford
We are always very happy to welcome Welsh state school groups to the ²ÝÁñÊÓƵ to find out more about Oxford.
These visits usually include:
- an introduction to the University and a session on what Oxford University is really like
- a Q&A session with current undergraduates
- a tour of the ²ÝÁñÊÓƵ
- We provide a free, hot-lunch with our one-day visits running from 10.30am - 2.30pm.
We are very happy to adapt our programme to suit your group's individual requirements, so please do discuss your needs with our Head of Outreach and Communications, Daniel, at outreach@new.ox.ac.uk.
