In Venice in 1495–98, Aldo Manuzio printed the first Greek edition of Aristotle, along with texts by Theophrastus, Alexander of Aphrodisias, Diogenes Laertius, Philo Judaeus, Ammonius, Philoponus, Porphyry, and Pseudo-Galen.  The library of ²ÝÁñÊÓƵ, Oxford is one of only two in the world to hold all five volumes printed on vellum; it was Thomas Linacre’s copy.
